An Islamic modernist, he introduced sharia as the basis for the legal system and promoted "Islamic socialism". The oil industry was nationalised, with the increasing state revenues used to bolster the military, fund foreign revolutionaries, and implement social programs emphasising house-building, healthcare, and education projects. In 1973, he initiated a "Popular Revolution" with the formation of General People's Committees, purported to be a system of direct democracy, but retained personal control over major decisions. He outlined his Third International Theory that year, publishing these ideas in The Green Book. In 1977, Gaddafi transformed Libya into a new socialist state called the Jamahiriya ("state of the masses"). This book is an example of Muslim thinking, but far from and much in contrast to much of Mid-East ideology.It seems great foolishness for Western nations to deal with Mid-East threats while making little effort to understand how leaders and people in these nations think about life and social and political issues. We all forget about our retirement in our daily busy work life but it is a very important part of every one life, if we make good plan for it so it will be a great time for us but if we don’t so it will be a suffering time for us. That’s why we must need to plan about retirement life, this book is very good about retirement planning and guideline about investment that time and makes sure a good income from our investment. After read the entire book I can say that this book is really good.

Although the book is short, it packed alot of useful content. I am in my early 20s and believe that retirement should be planned when one is 16 years old. Saving and investing is a lifelong habit and lifestyle. This book has made planning for retirement more important for me than I have previously realized. I plan to "retire" in 4 years and the book has better prepared me to retire early and gain financial freedom for myself and my family. Great work by the author

At the of the day, if you want to retire you have to be making passive income. You need to make investments that will compound and make you more money. Basically have money working hard for you. What I learned is that retirement isn't just social security itself but you have to financially literate in order to really have a successful retirement plan and spend a good amount of time enjoying your hard work and labor. This is what I got from this book, so it was highly educational and got me thinking. I recommend this book.

This is a very short and basic - yet useful - book that shows the importance of investing, budgeting, and financial planning in order to ensure an early, safe, and comfortable retirement. If you're the type of person who goes with the flow, without thinking too much about such things, this book will show you the value of thinking ahead when it comes to your finances.

I have many plans before​ and after my retirement. The most important part is to be economically independent at a certain age. This is a very good book for making sure you know how to plan your future and your life after retirement. This book simply talks about managing money and time. It guides on managing your money so that you will be able to retire with a smile not worrying the about future. Must read this book.

The section on pensions was useful. The book does a good job of explaining how you should be investing your money and where. The best thing is that you will find dos and don'ts in here so you can avoid the mistakes of others.

Terrible writing. General platitudes. Nothing useful. Don't waste your time or money.

This short book gives you a good introduction for anybody looking for information to Retirement. In this fast to read book you get advice and it tells you what to do and not to do.
